Your Role:
As a Commercial Manager, you will take the lead on business development and tendering for global salvage and wreck removal projects. This includes creating commercial offers, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractor agreements. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, ensuring seamless coordination and strategic execution. Your leadership will be key in managing emergency response calls, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing commercial activities on a global scale.
The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving business, hunting and gathering opportunities, managing contracts, and ensuring the adherence to the terms and conditions. This includes working on bids, requests for proposals, and tenders, along with maintaining client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Bring opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Work closely on contracts once a project is agreed upon, managing drafting, reviewing, and signing.
Ensure the terms and conditions of contracts are followed during operations.
Stay involved with the project after handover to operations, managing any scope changes or disputes.
Collaborate with project coordinators for travel, procurement, staffing, and billing.
What Do You Bring?
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a Maritime Academy degree, with at least five years of experience in commercial management, shipping, or a related field. You should have strong communication and negotiation skills and be adept at managing high-pressure situations. Experience working in multicultural environments is a plus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, and are ready to tackle challenges head-on.
