Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales and Business Development to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. This senior-level position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the marketing industry and possess strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the agency's goals and market opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture these markets.
Oversee the creation of industry-specific sales and marketing materials, including digital content, pitch decks, and capabilities presentations.
Manage the agency's online presence, ensuring optimization for client engagement and sales.
Drive client acquisition and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and re-engaging former clients.
Collaborate with account management and creative teams to ensure that client deliverables meet strategic objectives.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with agency goals and client needs.
Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to build relationships and promote our services.
Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the ski, snowboard, outdoor, fishing, hunting, or CPG industries.
Strong knowledge of sales principles, practices, and customer relationship management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing tools.
