The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing all areas of an SQF food safe certified facility. The business manager will oversee compliance, safety, risk management, human resources, budgets, financial management, and business operations.
Responsibilities
The role will involve setting direction for departments, budgeting, understanding organizational structure, and making informed business decisions.
Determination and review of all required OSHA and Company Safety Programs and corresponding training.
Continual evaluation of Organizational Chart to meet business need.
Review -development of company policy to comply with California Labor Law and meet company need.
Will work cross functionally with Operational Departments to insure programs and training are in line with.
Employee injury investigation and required OSHA - Worker's Comp reporting.
Work with Senior Management to determine Wage Structure.
Work with Operational Departments to determine minimum-maximum staffing requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years in a food production or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of California OSHA requirements and labor law
The ideal candidate should have strong business acumen, financial understanding, and preferably experience in risk management and safety/OSHA regulations.
