The SDR will connect sales reps with the right leads and business opportunities, playing a crucial role in this company's growth. Compensation: $50-$55K/year, with opportunity to earn up to $80K/year with commission
Product Information:
Our client has two software products: one is an ecommerce product customization platform that allows shoppers to personalize, customize, and configure products. The other, which is the focus of this role, is an enterprise, B2B ecommerce platform with a rich set of built-in features to easily manage content, site search, product information, and multi-store functionality.
Responsibilities:
Represent the B2B ecommerce platform, using comprehensive knowledge and research to explain how the software meets customer needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in qualified leads
Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook
Utilize CRM tools, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
Identify the needs of prospects and qualify opportunities
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
1+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
Strong communication skills via phone and email
Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and sales skills
Technical aptitude and an understanding of ecommerce and professional services projects
Willingness to drive and organize conversations with customers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Ecommerce industry knowledge
Experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving KPIs
Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software
Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
