Our Fortune 1000 Energy client is seeking a Front & Mid-office minded Business Analyst with experience in ETRM applications such as Open link/Endur to join their Trading & Risk Management group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our trading and risk management teams by leveraging your expertise in ETRM systems. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing trading strategies, ensuring accurate risk management, and enhancing system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist traders by providing insights, generating reports, and resolving application-related issues
Work with traders to identify and document business requirements for system enhancements or new functionalities
Configure ETRM applications to support trading workflows and strategies
Collaborate with risk managers, compliance officers, and IT support teams
Analyze and report on trading risk, exposures, and compliance with internal policies and regulations
Prepare and validate reports for regulatory compliance and internal audits.
Detect and troubleshoot software issues
Write clear quality code for software and applications and perform test reviews
Develop, implement, and test APIs
Provide input on software development projects
Qualifications
3+ years of development experience
5+ years of experience IT related experience
5+ years of Systems Analysis experience
5+ years of project related experience
3+ years of experience with Windows Server
3+ Report Writing experience
Experience with commodity trading and risk platforms required (Endur/Openlink preferred)
Strong knowledge of ETRM / Commodity manager with emphasis in the Energy industry and global energy markets.
Willing to learn new skills and modules
Comfort using programming languages and relational databases
