The Vice President of Business Strategy and Operations will be responsible for creating and implementing strategy, and managing the day to-day operations of BHCC, reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the Senior Management Team. You will own and drive clinical operations, marketing, human resources, information systems, revenue cycle management, contracting, and compliance. This newly created role is a position of high impact and influence. The position has a competitive base salary plus bonus.
As a strategic leader, you will be instrumental in defining the highest ROI opportunities, gaining
executive buy-in and helping execute a multi-pronged roadmap that drives revenue acceleration. You will be managing top-priority initiatives that require cross-disciplinary and cross-functional
with business leaders to design and implement processes and systems to improve organizational
effectiveness and bring better organization and transparency to critical and strategic activities.
The staff will rely on this leader to develop strategies that ensure BHCC is consistently delivering services and products to its current and future clients in accordance with BHCC standards and expectations. This leader oversees day-to-day operations including patient call centers, workforce management, quality assurance, patient services, complaints, and grievances.
This position works collaboratively with all departments to deliver timely results, budget goals, and ensures all strategies will be executed with a high degree of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. The successful candidate should have a documented history of developing teams and reinforcing a culture of excellence. The VP will help to shape and model the vision and values of BHCC while supporting its staff.
You will direct and grow the business through effective leadership and management of all aspects of customer service, quality patient care, marketing and responsible financial management. Practice budgets, maintaining profitability and growth, while ensuring compliance is of utmost priority.
This role maintains the overall responsibility for the operation of the practice except for those
activities directly involving the practice of medicine. The VP is responsible for
developing, planning, executing, and controlling broad activities to ensure long- and short-term
success, including ensuring financial stability and planning for short- and long-term growth. In this role, you will oversee and lead Human Resource, IT, Marketing, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle, and the Imaging Center.

Manages ad hoc projects for Executive leadership team and BOD as needed
Maintains informed view of industry players and ecosystem to understand and react to threats, opportunities, changes, and trends
Reports, adjusts and modifies business plans and budgets throughout the year as necessary
Manage and monitor customer/client satisfaction levels and to provide interventions when deemed necessary
Present a professional image of BHCC and act as an ambassador for the company both internally and externally
Conduct performance management throughout the year including annual performance evaluations and salary planning
Adheres to and promote all safety programs in place at BHCC
Provides support, guidance, counsel, direction and management to each of the departments.
Manages the organization consistent with the company's published Values
Oversees all logistics related to patient care from registration to end of services provided
Delivers organizational impact responsible for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommending and implementing changes to current methods
Oversees all aspects of company operations to ensure all team members are working towards clinical deliverables and timelines with ultimate accountability for the team's performance in achieving our performance goals
Leads the development and implementation of the short- and long-range plans to achieve the organization's goals and objectives including specific strategy and plans for growth, efficiency, cost management, quality care, and development of human capital
Owns the organization's development process for the practice and as such, ensures performance planning, coaching and development plans are in place for all employees to maximize their potential; ensures the employee evaluation process to include performance evaluations, merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions are completed
Responsible for the overall culture of the practice, developing talent and teamwork, and driving organizational change to drive strong performance as well as a positive work environment
Qualifications and Experience
5+ years management experience with increased responsibility in business development in the healthcare industry; MBA is preferred; Oncology or Imaging experience required
Prior management experience of 5+ team members
Boardroom polish and professional demeanor - must have excellent communication skills; both written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of analytical ability
Excellent organization and management skills, the ability to set strategy and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to be onsite Monday through Friday
Experience must include leadership roles and reflect significant history in navigating complex solutions and creating sustainable systems
Demonstrated ability to hold leaders and team members accountable
Evidence of progressive leadership experience required
Executive level communication skills, including the ability to use verbal and written communication to express ideas clearly and succinctly
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
Successful track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
