Location: NYC (Hybrid - 3 days per week in-office)
The Sponsorship Ops Lead is a specialized role focused on managing sponsor and expo floor delivery. Unlike traditional operations, it involves overseeing sponsorships from budgeting and inventory management to floor planning and execution. The role includes leading a team to ensure successful delivery of sponsorships and expo experiences. Ideal candidates will have strong sponsorship management experience and the ability to create innovative, end-to-end solutions. A background in large-scale expos, with both agency-side and event delivery experience, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain efficient processes for delivering sponsorships, ensuring all commitments are met effectively.
Manage commercial inventory, ensuring it aligns with budget goals, supports growth, and stays updated in coordination with the broader commercial team.
Oversee the commercial operations budget, providing regular updates to the finance team.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, content) to ensure smooth delivery of commercial contracts at events.
Work with sales and event operations teams to design, oversee, and manage the event floor throughout the show cycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team throughout the event planning and onsite execution phases.
Manage the delivery of sponsored features and activations, from RFP through to onsite build-out.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in managing large-scale events.
Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills with a keen eye for detail.
Creative thinker, able to develop bespoke ideas and solutions.
Capable of thriving in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
