The Development Director will support the company's mission to preserve and develop affordable, workforce, and mixed-income housing and oversee development projects from inception through stabilization. Additionally, the Development Director will oversee Developers and Development Associates with goals to include delivering development projects on schedule, on scope, within budget-but most importantly-developing relationships, quality housing, and supportive service opportunities in our communities.

They currently own and manage a diverse portfolio of LIHTC and Project Based Section 8 housing in seven states.
Key Requirements:
Eight to ten years of experience developing multifamily properties utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
Must have experience development projects from inception through stabilization (construction).
Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with state and federal funding agencies, staying apprised of available programs, requirements, and initiatives.
Well versed in preparing and maintaining pro forma development budgets and property operating budgets.
Lead and coordinate the permitting and entitlement process.
Excellent communication, problem solving, organization, and writing skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other software programs, as required.
