We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Affairs Manager to join our Global HIV Medical Affairs team. This role will focus on driving medical strategy, supporting clinical development, and ensuring the successful communication of scientific data related to our HIV portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical affairs, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing HIV care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement the global medical affairs strategy for HIV products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align medical strategies with overall business objectives.
Scientific Communication:
Prepare and present scientific data to internal stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and external audiences.
Develop and review medical educational materials, publications, and promotional content.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups in the HIV field.
Organize and support advisory boards, scientific symposia, and conferences.
Clinical Support:
Provide medical expertise to support clinical trials and post-marketing studies.
Collaborate with clinical development teams to ensure alignment of medical strategy with clinical objectives.
Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
Monitor and assess the competitive landscape and emerging trends in HIV research and treatment.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze and interpret clinical data to inform medical strategy and decision-making.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: MD, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on HIV.
Skills:
Strong scientific acumen and understanding of HIV pathophysiology and treatment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
