Job Description:

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in part-time on-call work.

Requirements:

• You must live within 1 hour of the San Diego, CA 92123 location
• Location of work would always be onsite and in person, remote work would not be possible. Daily bonuses are still TBD but at least a couple $ hundred/day. Minimal GIS skills are needed but we could help you learn them.

Time Commitments:

Paid working hours come in two categories, scheduled training and emergencies:

1. Scheduled training and meetings: roughly 1-2 scheduled days per month, for approximately 2-5 hours each, during normal working hours (Monday-Friday).
2. Emergency events: a rotation schedule will be established for 'on-call' shifts, likely to be roughly one week/month.
3. When on-call you must be able to respond to the County site within 60 minutes
4. Shift of event work will be 12 hours (likely 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am)
5. Events may occur overnight, on weekends, and on holidays
6. Shifts may be traded with other staff in advance to account for other commitments
