Global Disciples is seeking a new Vice President of Individual Partner Relations to expand the organization's impact, helping to bring the message of Christ to thousands more in the least-reaches areas. Reporting to the North America President, the VP of Individual Partner Relations will lead the individual giving team responsible for engaging donors at the mass market, mid, major and planned giving levels. The role combines fundraising strategy, team leadership, collaboration with marketing/communications, and major donor cultivation. The VP will ultimately build the individual giving program of the future, leveraging the team's current successes, expanding the donor base, and shaping the team as it evolves and grows.
Essential Duties:
Develop a multi-year strategic plan to guide the team's efforts.
Plan and implement multi-faceted fundraising campaigns (annual giving, planned giving, special events, and personal appeals).
Manage the performance of direct reports.
Actively work to secure major gifts of $10,000 or more.
Steward donors through ongoing communications and activities. Engage in prospect research, donor cultivation, gift solicitation.
Monitor progress against fundraising targets.
Work with Marketing and Communications team to design a comprehensive solicitation calendar.
Produce well-written, accurate, and timely correspondence in support of donor stewardship.
Assess and improve the efficiency of the donor cycle.
Proactively seek new funding sources. Maintain and build relationships with current/past donors.
Cultivate and directly solicit key partners.
Oversee the CRM database (Salesforce)
Ensure that all financial partners are properly thanked.
Implement effective approaches to initiate and grow planned giving among partners.
Establish a system of accountability for the Partner Relations Team to consistently report donor contact.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews for donor officers.
Serve as a visible spokesperson and advocate for Global Disciples.
Qualifications:
Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christa and an active member of a Christian church.
Passion for the mission and work of Global Disciples and alignment with its statement of faith, goals, purposes, and objectives.
Minimum of 7 years of fundraising experience with proven track record
High level of comfort and effectiveness working with high-net worth individuals
Ability to set objectives and performance standards, provide constructive feedback and achieve established program goals
Proficiency with technology and donor management software. Salesforce experience desired.
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Domestic and international travel required (approximately 30%) to meet with donors and staff. International travel (approximately 2-3x/year): Vision trips with major donors and potential supporters.
