Job Description:

Job Title: AWS IoT Architect

Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 months

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in C++, Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Experienced with web-based applications for storing and accessing complex big data.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS IoT Core, Analytics, Twin Maker, Greengrass, Device Management, Events and AWS Kinesis.
  • Solid understanding of IoT architectures, tools, and micro-service architecture, API management, token management with scalability in mind.
  • Skilled in cybersecurity and SecOps principles within system design.
  • Experienced with MQTT and other IoT messaging systems.
  • A proven track record in heavy-duty construction/industrial equipment sectors is a plus.
  • Experience with automated, remote diagnosis and provisioning of IoT devices.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup-like culture with a strong sense of ownership, adaptability in ambiguous situations, and a drive for tackling technical challenges.
  • B.S. or MS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in developing embedded applications using AWS IoT SDK using Python language.
  • Experience with cross compilation of open-source modules, python packages, kernel dependencies.
  • AWS Solution Architect Certified.
  • Skilled in AWS Dynamo DB database, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS AppSync, AWS Amplify, AWS S3, AWS Timestream.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, test automation, and DevOps principles.
  • Background in Agile development (e.g., Jira).
