Our client, a global Enterprise AI and Analytics company headquartered in Chicago, IL, is looking for a UX Specialist to join their growing organization. This role is hybrid out of Mettawa, IL with 3-4 days per week onsite with the client.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigating user experience design requirements for our products and engagements through user interviews and workshops, enabling delivery teams to gather user requirements and preferences better
Defining design problem statements collaboratively with key stakeholders and ideating on UX designs and solutions through business understanding, competitor research and platform capabilities
Consulting with users and stakeholders on information hierarchy and decision making through design principles and artefacts such as user flows, information architecture etc
Guiding and mentoring a team of design analysts and associates to translate user needs to UX and UI design ensuring they are highly user centric and designed for adoption
Enabling quick iterations of product build through wireframes and getting quick feedback from internal and external stakeholders and co-creating solutions
Producing and reviewing wireframes/ prototypes to align with end users and stakeholders on design for development
Conducting frequent user feedback sessions to improve UX and design outcomes
Driving adoption through comprehensive consumption plans by creating excitement around it using posters, videos, and other marketing collaterals and ensuring users are educated about the solutions building by running workshops, creating user guides etc.
Excelling in guiding customers and teams while bringing innovative ideas and a business-oriented mindset focused on creating meaningful impact and value
Effectively communicating the return on investment (ROI) of their solutions and emphasizing their positive contributions to the organization
Required Skills:
Proficient in UX research, including both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Skilled in UX design, with the ability to create simple information architectures featuring clear navigation and actionability
Experienced in UI design, capable of designing clean and functional user interfaces while leveraging existing design systems
Possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective workshops and brainstorming sessions with users
Apply a business-driven approach to design, ensuring the right features and outcomes are prioritized
Experience in designing applications on Salesforce
Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to create visual design artifacts, such as posters and videos, to support adoption efforts
Qualifications:
A master's degree on Design and a minimum of 2+ years' UI/UX design experience for services and products
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
A consulting background is a plus
