Iron Tribe is opening their search for a full-time Afternoon Gym Coach at their Baton Rouge, LA location. Iron Tribe does everything in their power to make sure they pay people to be content, confident, and proud of what they do.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prior to Class Times
  • Review brand warm-ups/workouts. Review all associated videos or tools. Ask questions if needed.
  • Set-up or reset equipment for upcoming workouts.
  • Collaborate with teammates on the execution plan for class.
  • Be on the floor, fully available to greet and chat with clients 10 minutes prior to class.
  • Greet customers with energy within 10 sec of walking in the door (like Cheers where everybody knows your name).
  • Must read over/learn internal promotions for the week so it sounds smooth when presenting it to the clients.
  • Spot check the facility to make sure nothing is out of place, it is always stocked, clean and presentable.

During Class Times
  • Never be on your cell phone.
  • You should sweat from motion, never sit down.
  • Do not stay in one spot, constantly pace the room.
  • Fully follow the ITF Class Structure protocol for each class.
  • Always start and end class on time.
  • Try and engage with every client as many times as possible
  • Do not carry items (shaker, water bottle, etc.) with you while you coach
  • Show don't tell. Demonstrate and assist when someone is having issues.
  • If giving physical cues, ask if you can touch the client, and always use knuckles outwards
  • Make intentional announcements before & after class for internal promotions.

Outside of Class Times
  • Complete client onboardings when assigned a new client
  • Reset workouts and equipment as needed.
  • Execute your daily operational responsibilities assigned by your manager
  • Ensure clients are setup and completing every assessment associated with their program
  • Reset program weekly for clients with customized program
  • Write hand-written cards for the week, along with other Tribe Touch responsibilities.
  • Complete all items associated with current promotion (6 wk challenge, TC Challenge, Referral Rewards, Etc.)
  • Ensure all cleaning and maintenance for the day has been completed with excellence.
  • Enter scores for the day, make social media posts & celebrate your clients.
  • Follow-up with clients who missed class, or have been out for a while.
  • Place gym orders, POS processing, work on gym promotions, etc.
  • Product re-stock and inventory.
  • Study upcoming workouts.
  • If tasks are complete: always ask your manager if there is anything else you can help with.
  • Break down workouts. Setup for the next day or next shift.

ADDITIONAL:
  • Assist with sales, upgrading clients, and growing your locations revenue
  • Must be flexible to help cover for coworkers when they are out sick or on vacation
  • Social media presence and influence for Iron Tribe

HOURS: Full-time/40 hours per week.
  • Monday: 10/11am - 7:45pm
  • Tuesday-Thursday: 12pm - 7:45pm
  • Friday: 12pm - 5:30pm
  • Saturday: Three classes every third Saturday of the month.
