Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our growing CPA Firm! You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for our clients. Involving strategizing tax plans, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as supervising your own team of tax professionals to deliver exceptional service and results.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of various tax returns including 990, 1120, 1120S, and 1040.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance tax efficiency for clients.
Ensure Compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws.
Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters including audits and inquiries.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to align tax strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
