Our client is one of the nation's leading machine manufacturers and they are looking to hire a Service Director for their Southern region. They need someone that that has strong experience working on CNC Machine tools and well as leading and managing teams. This role will be based out of the Houston office and requires a mix of travel and onsite work.

Required Skills And Responsibilities
Manage a team of Field Tech's to provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite
Manage costs and revenue generation to keep local offices profitable
Oversee supplies of service tooling as well as calibration and certification activities.
Negotiate corporate service and parts agreements
Coordinate factory support for installation and global service intervention
Provide assistance and training to Customer's Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
Manage training for service personnel
Present updates on service provide an overview of the service organization and KPI's such as revenue, billing and response time
Build strong customer service relationships with customers.
Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback
Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer
Qualifications
10 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Experience working with manufacturing machines
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Bachelor's degree is a big plus
IoT experience is plus
Employee to work onsite in the corporate office when not visiting customers.
Compensation
$130,000-150,000
