Direct Hire! Our client is one of the largest independently owned office products dealers in the Midwest. They are looking for a Service Engineer to service office machines and promote sales in the territory.
Repair/Support Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, software, or copy quality issues onsite or in the shop. Diagnose machine network connectivity problems and offer support. Manage assigned territory for timely service. Train key operators at machine installations and report information to dispatch.
Customer Relations Address and resolve customer concerns promptly. Report unresolved concerns to the Service Manager.
Documentation Prepare accurate work orders and obtain customer signatures. Submit work orders after service calls and record meter readings.
Work Area/Tool Kits/Vehicles Maintain work area, tools, and vehicles in a clean and orderly manner. Ensure proper inventory of tools and supplies in vehicles.
Sales Promote sales of maintenance agreements, machine supplies, and digital connected machines. Provide leads for new machine sales and market services.
Training Attend required training seminars and service meetings for updates.
Qualifications Other Duties As Assigned High School Education Technical Degree in Electronics/Computers/Basic Networking preferred A+ Certification desired Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer relation skills Accuracy skills Ability to lift 60 pounds as needed, with cart or assistance 75% - 100% of time spent traveling/servicing office machines Current driver's license and good driving record
