As Talent Investment Learning facilitator, you'll deliver onboarding content to our teachers, leading group activities and discussions to ensure productive collaboration and help training groups reach their learning objectives. This includes creating an inclusive environment, setting up clear agendas, guiding conversations, resolving concerns, and providing frameworks for decision-making.
The facilitator adapts their approach based on the group's needs and goals, ensuring all voices are heard and the team remains focused and effective. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with partners to understand training goals, needs, and dynamics. Design agendas and meeting structure, setting clear objectives and expected outcomes.
Develop facilitation tools and materials tailored to the group (e.g., presentations, discussion prompts, worksheets).
Lead and guide discussions, balancing participation and ensuring a respectful, open environment. Actively listen to participants, encouraging constructive input from everyone.
Reframe or refocus conversations as needed to maintain alignment with the session's goals.
Ensure inclusive Participation. Facilitate activities that encourage equal participation.
Manage group dynamics, ensuring all voices are heard and valued. Address any barriers to participation, adjusting strategies to meet diverse needs.
Mediate differing viewpoints, helping participants find common ground. Use conflict resolution techniques to maintain positive group dynamics. Facilitate consensus-building exercises to reach group agreements or decisions.
Provide feedback and follow-up, summarize key points, action items, and decisions reached during sessions. Offer constructive feedback to participants, highlighting areas for improvement.
Follow up with stakeholders to evaluate session outcomes and gather feedback for future improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Communication, Organizational Development, Psychology) preferred.
Minimum of 2-5 years in facilitation, coaching, mediation, or a related role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain neutral and objective.
Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Adaptability and ability to work with diverse groups.
Organizational and time management skills.
