Job Description:

Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in the Downtown Milwaukee, WI area that is looking for Chief Financial Officer for their organization. This role will serve on the Senior Leadership team and report to the Board of Directors and the President/CEO. This role will be responsible for strategical planning and will lead and implement effective finance and accounting strategies, policies, and procedures for the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Chief Financial Officer will develop short- and long-term financial goals and objectives for the organization
  • Establishes finance plans, goals, and policies that are consistent with established organizational priorities
  • Ensures that policies are in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry trends
  • As a Chief Financial Officer, you will supervise the development and implementation of financial information and control systems, including general ledger, budgeting, cost allocation, and other subsystems
  • Responsible for the effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and analyses
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • CPA preferred
  • Ten or more years of high-level finance/accounting experience
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization
  • Working Conditions: In office
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
