As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will provide high-level accounting expertise, assist with complex financial reporting, and support decision-making for a variety of clients. You will work with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy in financial management, compliance with accounting standards, and drive the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
Provide expertise in GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, ensuring compliance across all client engagements.
Lead financial audits and collaborate with external auditors for accurate reporting.
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the implementation of new accounting systems or process improvements.
Advise clients on accounting policy, risk management, and internal controls.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff and consultants.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
CPA or on CPA track preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in managing financial audits, both internal and external.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
