Audit Senior Accountant Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional service to our clients, particularly in the construction and auto dealership sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
Review and analyze financial statements and reports
Identify and assess risk areas, developing audit strategies
Supervise and mentor junior staff during audit assignments
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in audit, with experience in the construction and auto dealership industries being a huge plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
CPA certification not required but preferred
