IDEAL interns are provided the opportunity to develop and apply practical skills under the mentorship of subject matter experts in a professional work environment. This includes purposeful connection to intern education and the application of academic theory through relevant, hands-on experience in project management, research, design, data collection and analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a variety of both independent and team-based activities.

Responsibilities

As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for overseeing the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms. You will engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a positive and interactive environment. You will also curate user-generated content and support an in-person influencer event, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure successful execution and promotion. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the company's digital presence and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Social Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms.

• Community Management: Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a positive and interactive environment.
• UGC Curation: Curate and manage user-generated content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and enhances community engagement.
• Sneak Peek & Influencer Support: Provide support for in-person influencer event, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure successful execution and promotion.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Pursuing degree in pubic relations, journalism, communications, marketing or other related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
• Skilled in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Professional or academic experience in social media marketing
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently
