Job Description:

Position: Data Entry Specialist (MS Excel / Financials)

Location: Modesto, CA - Onsite M-F (Hours are 7:00am PST to 3:30pm PST)

Work Model: Onsite M-F (7am to 3:30pm PST)

Duration: 6+ month contract, strong potential to convert an FTE

Hourly Rate Range: 19/hr to 21/hr

Must Have: Advanced MS Excel experience (format, v-look up, pivot tables, etc.)

What You Will Do:

• Proof and process ads: Review and process advertisements, potentially collaborating with Jenny Lopez, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Data entry: Key in financial data and other relevant information into the workspace, maintaining accuracy and organization.
• Run sales reports: Generate accurate sales reports using Excel, leveraging formatting, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables to analyze data.
• Clerical tasks: Perform basic office functions such as filing, scanning, and answering phones, supporting the office's administrative needs.
• Merchandising notes: Assist in maintaining and analyzing merchandising notes, providing insights to management as needed.
• PowerPoint support: Create and edit PowerPoint presentations at a basic level for internal and external use.
• Maintain data accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies in reports or entries.

What Gets You The Job:

• Familiarity with Excel functions such as formatting, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables.
• Basic analytical skills for reviewing merchandising notes and generating reports.
• Ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations at a basic level.
• Basic clerical knowledge and office experience (e.g., answering phones, filing, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
