We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engineering our firm's enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools. You will deploy resilient and scalable vendor and open-source products into both Windows and Linux environments. Additionally, you will develop solutions to integrate these monitoring tools into our firm's ecosystem and create automations to reduce manual business-as-usual (BAU) work. You will also provide second-level support for the tools and services within the team.

Rate: $50 - $52 / hr. w2
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise-class monitoring solutions for the firm's global infrastructure.
Develop automations and solutions using Python to integrate monitoring tools into the wider ecosystem.
Participate in the Agile development process.
Work with stakeholders to collect and understand requirements.
Support and maintain existing tools and onboard new functionalities to existing tools.
Multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities.
Drive innovations in the platform.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver end-to-end products and features.
Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
Passion for developing enterprise-scale monitoring solutions.
Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
Familiarity with SDLC best practices and source control tools such as GIT.
Experience in network TCP/IP is a plus.
Knowledge of monitoring protocols such as SNMP, Syslogs, Wireshark, and agent-based monitoring is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard enterprise monitoring tools, both vendor and open source (e.g., SolarWinds, NetScout, Tripwire, Illumio, Prometheus).
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with public cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
