We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the consolidation of manufacturing and distribution facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex, multi-location projects with an emphasis on logistics, supply chain optimization, and operational efficiency. This role demands excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams, to align on project objectives.
Budget Management: Create and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks (operational, financial, and regulatory) while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Change Management: Facilitate smooth transitions of personnel, equipment, and processes, including training and integration of new teams.
Logistics Coordination: Manage the physical relocation of assets, including transportation, customs, and warehousing solutions.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure that relocations enhance manufacturing capacity, improve distribution timelines, and boost overall productivity.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Excel and other tools to track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and report insights to senior leadership.
Resource Allocation: Optimize the use of human capital, equipment, and other resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Timeline Adherence: Maintain project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to address delays or unforeseen challenges.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically in relocations and consolidations.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
Experience with international logistics and manufacturing relocations is a plus.
