This position will be a member of the IT Helpdesk Team. Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to: • Configuration, installation and repair of computers and other electronic office equipment. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on user's computers and devices. • Troubleshoot Intermec/Honeywell barcode label printers and handheld Android scanners. • Perform preventative maintenance on Intermec/Honeywell barcode label printers. • Troubleshoot networking issues related to switching, data cabling and wireless. • Skill to Install and terminate horizontal and backbone network cabling per TIA/EIA-568 structured cabling standards. • Educate users on procedures for resolving or preventing technical problems. • General administration of Windows Servers including Active Directory and Group Policy. • Develop and implement technical procedures to quickly address user's problems and minimize downtime. • Develop relationships with third-party vendors managing software and maintenance agreements and licensing. • Quote network cabling installations and maintain network diagrams. • EDI software technical support. • Administration of customer portals. User account creation, maintenance, troubleshooting and password resets. • Ability to mentor and work well with other support team members. • Ability to lead projects, meet deadlines and report progress to IT management.
