IT Field Technician - 5 days/week onsite in Winston-Salem, NC - Hardware - W2 Only

Apex Systems is looking to hire multiple IT Field Technicians for a client.
LOCATION: 100% Winston-Salem/High Point/Lexington areas
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE IT Field Technician - THIN CLIENT - to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware across multiple client locations in the Triad area..
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software at multiple sites.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics for hardware issues, including connectivity, performance, and user access problems.
Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.
Provide on-site technical support and training to client staff regarding hardware and software.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance procedures in a clear and organized manner.
Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
Experience:
1+ year experience with installing/troubleshooting Thin Clients such as: Wyse Terminals, Chromebooks, Citrix Receivers, etc
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience - COMPTIA
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role
Requirements:
Proven experience with hardware deployment and related technologies.
Strong knowledge of networking, hardware diagnostics, and software troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between multiple locations.
Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver within the client's environments for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending, crouching, and reaching to access and install hardware.
Ability to navigate stairs and confined spaces as needed.
