This position is responsible for leading organizational change management and communication holistically with the Project environment.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Develop enterprise strategies and plans, for topics to include coordinated communications, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
Ensure internal and external project communications are consistent, high-quality and at timed appropriately.
Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with overall OCM planning and guidance.
Foster productive collaboration among functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure adoption of OCM objectives and methods.
Support the Implementation team with execution of tasks in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and acquisition.
Provide direct support and coaching to appropriate stakeholders as they help others through transitions.
Facilitate OCM activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to move DMS into a change-forward posture
Lead Communication planning and initiatives
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
Apply and enforce project standards.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Track and report team project status to the project manager on a weekly basis or as needed; and keep business sponsor(s) advised of project status.
Effectively facilitate team and stakeholder meetings, including regular status updates, through engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations.
Lead a diverse team of professionals in support of OTM
Required Qualifications/Skills:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing OCM practices for system implementation projects using an industry-standard change management framework
Experience working in governmental or public service agencies
Track record of successfully managing OCM efforts and collaborating across a wide array of business units and IT teams.
Demonstrated ability to measure change readiness, continually reinforce change, and address resistance to change
Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office applications
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner
Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with diverse teams
Strong collaboratively verbal, written and presentation communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in a professional and positive/constructive manner, through status reports and client communications/deliverables
Deep knowledge in, and experience with, OCM as a discipline (i.e., experience as a change manager and developing and executing change management plans) and Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and monitor OCM activities
