Client is a boutique Hedge Fund with offices in Boston, CT and Asia. They are seeking an Experienced Desktop Support Engineer to support their day to day IT Operations, while working alogn side their MSP on IT Initiatives and technology improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be the Firm's go to point of contact for daily IT requests and issues.
Working with the Firm's MSP will maintain all computer hardware and software systems.
Will install new programs, manage updates and providing a high level of technical support for Founders, Executives, Traders and other staff.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide system reconfiguration, recommend solutions such as patches, upgrades and enhancements.
Will lead all special IT initiatives and projects to ensure technology optimization and performance.
Must be ultra responsive to Executive's technology needs and proactively solve problems.
QUALIFCATIONS
Bachelor's or graduate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a similar field
5+ years supporting a similar envrionment including Executive and C Level Officers.
Deep understanding of MS operating systems, hardware, software, and networking. Proficient in a variety of systems
Quickly identify and fix technical issues.
Excellent customer service skills to provide timely and effective support.
