Our Challenge:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Java technologies, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture, and have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust, scalable applications. The Senior Java Architect will lead architecture discussions, mentor development teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The Role

Responsibilities:
  • Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance architecture for enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between microservices and external systems.
  • Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to streamline deployment and enhance the scalability of applications.
  • Cloud Integration: Architect solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and optimized performance.
  • Modern Web Applications: Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate modern web applications using frameworks like Angular and ReactJS, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
  • Code Quality: Establish coding standards, best practices, and design patterns to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the architecture.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and design documents.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Requirements:

You are:

Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in an architectural role, designing and implementing enterprise-level applications.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of modern web application frameworks like Angular and ReactJS.
  • Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in application design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
