Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our Production Services team, providing exceptional onsite support to over 600 users. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless IT operations, including new hire onboarding, break/fix support, and smart hands support for collaboration spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide onsite support for IT-related activities and initiatives, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. • Assist with new hire onboarding, including setting up workstations and providing initial training on company systems and applications. • Perform hardware break/fix tasks, ensuring minimal downtime for users. • Offer smart hands support for collaboration spaces, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and users can utilize the technology effectively. • Support small projects by assisting a specific group of customers with applications, infrastructure, and technology-related activities. • Collaborate with application developers and operations teams to support production applications and customer-specific operations. • Train customers on new products, applications, and platforms to enhance their productivity and efficiency. • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives by actively participating in team meetings and initiatives
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support, with a strong emphasis on technical and customer support. • Proficiency in Microsoft products and experience with ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management. • Ability to provide remote support and troubleshoot issues effectively. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience. • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills: • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Experience with imaging tools such as Ghost and SCCM for application deployment. • Knowledge of asset management practices. • Relevant Microsoft or CompTIA certifications.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
