This leadership role is directly responsible for all venue and online technologies across four distinct concepts -- Punch Bowl Social, Voicebox Karaoke, Lyrical Systems, and Sweet Tooth Hotel - operating in multiple market verticals and geographies. This role combines technical hands-on team development and management with innovative strategic thought leadership. The key to success in this role will be the ability to partner with staff at all levels to ensure that our systems provide a superior guest and team member experience, while simultaneously developing and executing a comprehensive IT "road map" to address the future needs of the business. The VP of Technology will manage various IT vendors and a small team of in-house technical professionals.

Role Deliverables
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical leadership and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as it relates to all facets of point of sale, CRM, digital sales, security, equipment, back-office solutions and business intelligence.
Improve operations by introducing new and creative applications of technology.
Oversee internal team and 3rd party vendors responsible for on-call escalation responsibilities 24/7
Develop practical IT solutions to operational challenges.
Project Management:
Own and drive all technology projects; every project has technology at the center! Proactively identify and address potential "points of failure" in IT planning / infrastructure and develop cost-effective solutions.
Establish appropriate support structure for operations including help desk, documented process/procedures, and success metrics.
Partner with cross-functional teams on projects and their implementation.
Develop metrics and continuous improvement methodology for the Technology function.
Leadership:
Lead a team of highly skilled technology professionals and 3rd party vendors tasked with supporting initiatives and processes.
Create and manage IT strategic plan and annual IT Budget
Participate in leadership meetings for all concepts as required
Maintain open, candid and trusting relationships with colleagues, direct reports and other senior leadership members, and embrace the servant leadership mindset
Communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully while ensuring plans and strategies are implemented as promised
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the areas of information technology, systems, engineering, or business
10+ years of experience with hospitality systems preferred including point-of-sale, in-store infrastructure, back-office systems, payment, and website/app/delivery ordering systems
Experience with NCR Aloha POS, Toast POS, HotSchedules, Paylocity, Net Suite, preferred
Experience managing hospitality systems across locations in 10+ states
Strong knowledge of information security processes
