OrangePeople is seeking a skilled PLM Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on optimizing product lifecycle processes and assisting with the integration of a 3D design tool, CLO, into the client's legacy PLM system, Andromeda. Additionally, this position will play a key role in an upcoming discovery project to identify a potential new PLM solution, evaluating options such as Centric, Infor, or PTC to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Design Tool Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CLO, a 3D design tool, into the current PLM system, Andromeda, to enhance design visualization and streamline the product development process.
Future PLM System Discovery: Support a discovery project to assess new PLM solutions (e.g., Centric, Infor, PTC) that align with long-term objectives, gathering requirements and documenting findings to inform future PLM selection.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee product data and lifecycle stages to ensure consistency and alignment with timelines, supporting seamless product development and market launches.
System Maintenance and Optimization: Ensure data accuracy and optimize the existing PLM system for efficiency, identifying process improvements and addressing system issues as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with design, merchandising, production, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and manage cross-functional dependencies.
Data Reporting and Insights: Provide analytical support by generating product lifecycle reports, and offering insights for business and project stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
User Support and Training: Train team members on PLM functionalities, especially with new tools and workflows, to maximize system adoption and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in PLM, product management, or related fields within retail or consumer goods, with experience in system integration or tool implementation.
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with PLM software (e.g., Andromeda, Centric, PTC), with a focus on data management and system optimization. Experience with 3D design tools, such as CLO, is a plus.
Analytical and Project Management Skills: Ability to manage complex integration and discovery projects, with strong analytical skills to assess lifecycle data and product development insights.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail for data accuracy and product quality across the lifecycle.
