Title: Project Manager

Length: Through Q1 of 2025

Location: Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies, including both waterfall and Scrum Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Coordination:
  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Track and resolve bugs reported by users or identified during testing, driving timely resolutions to minimize project impact.

UAT Testing Coordination:
  • Develop and manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, including test cases, schedules, and resources.
  • Oversee the execution of UAT, ensuring all test cases are completed and any issues are addressed promptly.

Cutover Planning and Execution:
  • Create a detailed cutover plan outlining all activities, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Lead the cutover process, ensuring all tasks are completed as planned and any issues are promptly resolved.

Project Governance:
  • Ensure the project adheres to governance standards and is prepared for audits.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records to support compliance and audit requirements.

Understanding of Scrum Agile Practices:
  • Facilitate the integration of waterfall workstreams with Scrum teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and collaboration.
  • Apply Scrum Agile practices where applicable, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas industry or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including waterfall and Scrum Agile practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
