We have an exceptional opportunity for you to partner with a senior shareholder of an AM 50 Houston law firm leading firm, playing a crucial role in managing his dynamic and demanding schedule.

In this position, you will be integral to the success and productivity of a top firm leader, ensuring streamlined operations and proactive management of his professional commitments. As his right-hand, you will not only handle his day-to-day activities but also strategically think two steps ahead, allowing him to focus on maximizing his influence and impact.

What you will do:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the senior shareholder, managing and prioritizing his commitments with finesse.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements, manage calendars, and organize meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide executive-level support in the preparation and review of presentations and documents.
  • Oversee and manage both electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring that documents are organized and easily accessible.
  • Facilitate clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and various internal and external partners.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying and coordinating opportunities for growth and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Administrative Support Coordinators, Paralegals, and other team members to ensure seamless support.

What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing administrative tasks, including time entry, invoicing, and expense processing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, combined with a professional demeanor.
  • Experience in maintaining confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information securely.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, law firm experience a big plus.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
