We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize our procurement processes, ensure supplier quality, and drive cost-effective sourcing for our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
**Procurement Strategy and Execution**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on cost-efficiency, supplier quality, and timely delivery.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate material price fluctuations, manage risks, and capitalize on sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality assurance, engineering) to align procurement strategies with production needs and quality standards.
**Supplier Relationship Management**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships and securing reliable supply sources.
- Assess, select, and onboard suppliers based on performance criteria, including quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Implement and monitor supplier quality assurance programs, ensuring suppliers meet stringent quality standards and performance benchmarks.
**Process Improvement and Streamlining**
- Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and improve operational efficiency across the procurement function.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process optimization, automation, and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of procurement processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
**Negotiation and Contract Management**
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
- Manage high-stakes negotiations for long-term agreements and critical components to ensure supply continuity and minimize risks.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and execution of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards.
**Data Analysis and Reporting**
- Utilize data-driven insights to track and report on key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance, lead times).
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting procurement performance and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Leverage analytics to identify trends, measure results, and adjust procurement strategies as necessary.
**Key Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in supplier management, process improvement, cost control, and contract negotiation.
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and streamlining procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive results with key suppliers.
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
