we are seeks a Project Manager to support implementation of the federally mandated Advancing Interoperability and Improving Prior Authorization Processes Final Rule. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in this innovative initiative to enhance care coordination between members, providers, and payers through the use of Application Programming Interfaces and mobile applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the healthcare industry, including successful completion of projects in the healthcare information technology environment
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, vendors, and business and technical project team members
Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and ability to translate and communicate technical concepts and information to business staff
Ability to document and convey complex concepts in a simple easy to understand manner and format
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to assess priorities and flexibly meet the dynamic needs of the team
Ability to work independently and process quickly, independently, prioritizing work activities
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum (3) three years of Information Technology related project management experience
Experience with and preparing project documentation
Proficiency with MS Project
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry best practices.
