We are recruiting for a Process Engineer, Assembly. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, formulating, and implementing engineering-related activities to support the Arkansas Faucets Operations facilities. Primary Responsibilities
Support the Production facilities for Arkansas Faucet Operations in the areas of production constraints and/or limitations in the areas of the bill of materials, deviations, line layout, tooling, and fixturing for efficient and on-time product build and delivery.
Support the facilities as required through contact with vendors to ensure the quality of the product being received and produce matches that are supplied by Engineering standards and specifications.
Support all Global Faucet initiatives in the areas of Kaizen, Quality, efficiency, cost reductions, delivery, safety, and performance.
As required, provide specialized support to the areas of Plating and PVD based on current process analysis for the improvement of efficiency and absorption as well as the reduction of scrap value.
Support Global Faucets and other Kohler Organizations through the conception, development, and release of new products and technologies in the Arkansas Faucet Operations.
Assist with all other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Arkansas Faucet Operations Management.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) with experience in the manufacturing environment preferred.
1+ years of work experience in an Engineering Department can include co-op and internship experience.
Ability to develop, analyze, and implement corrective actions to improve/correct manufacturing operations.
Proficient in the use of personal computers, and Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Experience with drafting programs is also a plus.
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various levels of the organization.
