Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Vice President, Global Supply Chain is responsible for setting and leading the supply chain function across several business units of a well-established and globally recognized multibillion-dollar durable consumer goods manufacturer with 14,000 employees, and operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. This role involves strategic planning, developing a world class supply chain strategy across vertical platforms, including directing and oversight over all procurement, a robust SIOPs function, and planning and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
Specific Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement supply chain initiatives that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
Provide leadership at the Corporate Office through a number of both direct and indirect reports.
Be a partner with technology and leverage common systems that will elevate the procurement process across multiple manufacturing plants.
Develop KPIs to improve service in the areas of predictability, profitability, and promptness of delivery. Consequently, improve overall metrics of supply chain group to drive improvements on spend, quality, and delivery.
Support new strategic initiatives by developing both business and implementation plans and providing supporting analysis.
Architect, design and roll-out procurement plans with business unit leadership and corporate executive staff that aligns with the strategic plan.
Work collaboratively with leadership to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Promotes and leads succession planning efforts by providing developmental opportunities that will support the organization's future growth plan.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering required. Master's degree preferred. Must have at least 15-20 years of relevant experience in a role of increasing responsibility and accomplishments within large and complex manufacturing environments. Other attributes of a successful candidate include:
Experience in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOPs).
Systems (MRP) background and metrics driven professional. History of leading a supply chain function through the use of analytics.
Openness and willingness to travel, both domestic and internationally when needed.
Strong leadership and communication skills in directing a number of direct and dotted line reports.
