Position Summary:

Our Redmond-based client is seeking an Application Developer to join their team for a remote-based opening.

Candidates needs to be US Citizen or Permanent residence. Initially, it is a Short term contract, until April 2025, but there is the possibility of an extension depending on Budget & Performance.



Responsibilities

  • Work with Analysis, testing, and business owner teams to understand desired system functionality.
  • Primary developer for high-complexity functions. Provide technical support and expertise to other development team members.
  • Provide development lead with work estimates. Drive Technology Architecture decisions. Create technical design documents.
  • Create a development environment. Ensure that code meets development specifications and is maintainable (comments, supporting documentation)
  • Create and execute unit tests exercising the code’s functionality and compatibility with other features before turning code over to the test team.
  • Communicate and defend design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and/or limitations of systems. Resolve code issues raised by analysis or test teams. ·
  • Work with developers and other members of the project team, MS product and program managers, and vendors in accomplishing objectives.
  • Develop tools to aid the development process (e.g. basic test automation for all developers to run locally prior to check-in) Participate in code reviews of other developer’s work.
  • Deliverables include Technical Architecture, Technical Design Specification, Thoroughly commented Code, and Technical User Guide.


Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5+ overall years of experience in the field.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with C#.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with React.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with Full-stack development.
  • Experience with front-end (UX) and back-end services, ideally within the.NET framework.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) process.

  • A competitive pay range of $72- $75/hr (depending on experience).
  • Position Location: Hybrid - Redmond, WA (2 days a week Onsite)
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
