Our Techinical Training Specialist - STEM & Tech Ed enjoy troubleshooting and repairing electronic components in complex machines while and training customers in educational (STEM and STEAM environments) and industrial training environments. This individual must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing our clients with legendary customer service by the means of training and communicating to the customer (teacher, educator, etc.) about the equipment. Our top candidate is a self-starter, responsible for installation, training, and support of technical training products, while also selling service contracts and consumable supplies and proficient at using Salesforce.
This position will manage service and training territory within California, Nevada and occasionally Hawaii.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and service technical equipment (3D Printers, Laser Engravers, Wide-format printers, CNC Machines, etc.) at customer locations.
Provide training at customer facility and record field activities in call tracking software application to ensure accurate information on customer base.
Maintain a positive partnership with outside Sales Representatives in ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Complete on-site troubleshooting and repair of complex customer machines while providing installation of hardware and software products at customer’s facility.
Follow up with customers after trainings and service visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain service inventory using established protocols and controls and report back to the Sales Representative regarding service calls completed timely and accurately.
Responsible for timely submission of expense reports and other service-related paperwork.
Maintain good customer relations and act as a positive team player among the Tech Products division.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience repairing or troubleshooting electronic components in complex machines is preferred but not required.
Prior work experience in education or technical training and/or knowledge of technical products is preferred but not required.
Must demonstrate mechanical, technical, and electronic aptitude.
Some technical school training preferred but not required and must be willing to train clients on how to use technical products.
Capable of working independently as well as on a team, partnering with other teammates across the company, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Strong problem solver that has a positive attitude, is self-motivated and well organized.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift to 100 lbs
Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from the client’s site
Willingness to travel in territory 40%-60%, weekly overnight are common
Position requires kneeling, crawling, climbing, stretching, and sitting
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule with hours that may include mornings, evenings and/or weekends as required to meet the needs of our customers. Overnight may be required on occasion.
Must possess keen vision and hearing
Arm, hang & finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling
