Volt is immediately hiring multiple Injection Molding Machine Operators. In this role, you will primarily operate injection molding equipment used to make plastic plates used in medical laboratories. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available.
Injection Molding Operator Responsibilities:
Following the jobs traveler/work order, operate injection molding machines used in the manufacturing process of plastic parts
Perform setup, calibrations, and shut down of machines as required or needed.
Perform various quality checks on the product during and after the manufacturing process. This consists of visual and hands on precision measurements.
Ensure machine operations are running optimally by maintaining work and break schedules.
Unload finished parts, stack and bag product for storage/shipping.
Operate computer to load and run work instructions, track production, scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments that have been performed.
Properly and promptly inform management of any issues, machine downtime, and mis manufactured product.
Ensure all product not meeting specifications are segregated and properly marked
Assist with other duties in other areas as needed.
Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and processes
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Desire to be part of a motivated and energetic team
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Bilingual communications skills a plus
Shift Hours and Pay Rate:
1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. $18.00 per hour
2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm. $19.80 per hour
3rd shift, Monday - Friday, 11pm to 7:30am. $20.70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
