Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a highly successful retail business services company located in the Marlborough area, is in search of a General Ledger Accountant. This company offers security, a relaxed professional environment, and an opportunity to develop within the team. The General Ledger Accountant will implement efficiencies in processes and interact with all levels of staff and management across the organization. The role requires familiarity with accounting processes, controls, monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Account reconciliations


• Bank/cash reconciliations


• Manage general ledger accounts (reconciliations)


• Assist with month-end close


• Perform accounting transaction research


• Maintain Excel summaries/schedules


• Perform related accounting projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Accounting preferred


• 3+ years of related accounting experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment


• Ability to learn new systems quickly


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Team player


• Flexible

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
