The University of South Alabama’s Computer Services Center is seeking to hire a Telecommunications Specialist. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
Assists with processing billing for Computer Services, Telecommunications, and Audiovisual Technologies.
Prepares monthly billing statements for review and processing.
Ensures that all billing invoices have proper backup documentation.
Verifies that the account numbers provided correlate with the requesting department.
Ensures that documentation for approved project funds are properly maintained.
Reviews project expense tabulations for errors/omissions and provides assistance with report reconciliation.
Processes purchase requests for Computer Services, Telecommunications, Web Services, Information Security, and Audiovisual Technologies as needed.
Prepares Concur expense reports to ensure all transactions are properly documented and allocated to the appropriate account numbers.
Operates peripheral equipment to include printers, photocopiers, fax machines, pressure seal folding machines, diagnostic tools, etc., as needed.
Provides support to Computer Center staff using departmental databases to carry out accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Prepares, scans, and reviews documents (digital and hard copies) for filing by name, number, date, alphabet, or other prescribed procedures.
Maintains an inventory of office supplies and orders supplies when necessary.
Moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and assists with moving larger equipment as needed.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
Related duties as required.
