The Research Project Coordinator will provide program development support to HERN within the OCTRI CTSA for a multi-center project funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and facilitated by the American Public Health Association (APHA). The project aims to build capacity in qualitative data design and applications. Key responsibilities include assisting with the organization and management of project materials, tracking project deliverables; scheduling meetings with stakeholders, notetaking; assisting with topic development: participating in literature searches and analysis; reviewing and helping to identify themes from qualitative datasets; assists with monthly invoicing, other project related activities as needed.
Experience working in a research environment
1-year professional work experience including project management and/or program coordination
Demonstrated knowledge of basic research design and concepts (quantitative and qualitative)
Experience with citation database management (i.e., Endnote) and conducting targeted literature searches
Knowledge of qualitative data software such as NVivo
Experience with high-level coordination and management of multi-center federally funded research studies
Experience developing, writing, and editing dissemination materials for various audiences
Experience contributing to research projects and conducting qualitative analysis
Experience with research; including study design and implementation. Experience with secondary data collection and analysis
Ability to work independently and remotely with teams across multiple locations
Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with faculty and investigators, staff, students, and visitors at all levels within OHSU and in the community
Superb organizational skills and fine attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with many competing demands and priorities
