The Department of Health Policy and Management is seeking an individual for a part-time Lecturer position outside the tenure stream to teach HPM-2029, “Health Management Information Systems” in the 2025 Spring Term. Candidate must possess a master’s level degree to teach in the MHA and MPH programs and have experience with HMIS systems and an acute understanding of the conceptual framework of an integrated health management information system. The course will focus on the health care manager's role in the design, implementation, and control of an effective HMIS.
The salary to teach the course will adhere to the terms of the Pitt Faculty Union CBA of $2,500 per credit. HPM-2029 is a 2 -credit course.
