Associate Attorney-
Focus: Medical Malpractice Defense (85%) and Premises Liability (15%)
Work Setup: In office then flexes to Hybrid (4-5 days in-office for the first 3-4 months, then 3 days in-office and 2 remote).
About the Role:
Manage a caseload of 15-17 medical malpractice and premises liability cases with minimal supervision
Take and defend depositions, including with doctors and nurses
Draft and prepare motions (including motions for summary judgment). MSJ writing samples required
Participate in mediations alongside a partner
Prepare for trials
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience (medical malpractice defense is essential)
Ability to work independently and take ownership of case files is critical
Billable Hours: 160 hours/month (1,920 annually)
Salary Range: $130,000-$165,000 (depending on experience, 3-5 years preferred)
Bonuses: Discretionary, typically reviewed at year-end
