Payroll Specialist at Roth Staffing Companies in Southborough, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of payroll experience with a background in automated payroll software.


Role: Payroll Specialist (Temp-Hire)


Location: Southborough, MA (On-Site)


Pay: $32-$35/hour


RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Process weekly payroll for multiple locations (New England)


• Responsible for adjustments, proper calculations and overall time sheet accuracy


• Payroll review and reconciliation


• Responsible for coding hours to jobs for field staff for job cost tracking


• Assist with set up for deductions, garnishments, etc.


• Assist with generating payroll reports for audits


• Provide general HR support, as needed, such as new employee onboarding and benefit enrollment


REQUIREMENTS:


• 2+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state


• Experience with automated payroll software (IE: ADP or similar platform)


• Must be able to handle high volume payroll and related tasks


• Excellent communication skills
