Job Purpose/Summary:



The License & Permit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the in-scope licenses and permits for the organization. This role ensures that the company complies with all local, state, and federal regulations by obtaining, renewing, and managing necessary licenses and permits. The License & Permit Manager will work closely with various departments and licensing bodies to ensure seamless operations and mitigate any risks associated with non-compliance.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations by obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and permits.


  • License and Permit Management: Oversee the application, renewal, and management of all licenses and permits required for the company's operations.


  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all licenses and permits, including renewal dates and compliance documentation.


  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential compliance risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Legal, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure all licensing and permitting needs are met.


  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in regulations and ensure the company adapts to these changes in a timely manner.


  • Continuous Improvement - Continually identify ways to create efficiencies and reduce risk in the process.


  • Budget & Forecast - Create and maintain budgets and forecasts to ensure all license and permits are obtained timely and all potential costs are accounted for in the budget.




Requirements:




Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Compliance, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience directly responsible for obtaining licenses and permits, or a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in a similar industry.



Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.



Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization.



Travel: 0-25%



Location: Springdale, Arkansas (onsite)
