This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Operate a floor jack in a safe manner. Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Complete operator check list daily. Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns. Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers. Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line. Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Schedule: 2:30PM-11:30PM M-F, Sometimes Saturdays
Requirements:
Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
Must be a full-time team member and have completed the 90-day probationary period. If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.
Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must not have a self-demotion or declined a job bid in the last six (6) months, unless the bid is to a higher class.
Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.
Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicant also must have completed a minimum of 365 days since last employment with Tyson.
